VELATURA WATER

Water based undercoat for the preparation of wooden surfaces.

Water Based Velatura is an acrylic white undercoat of excellent quality for varnish colors for interior and exterior use on wooden and structural surfaces. It combines great coverage and whiteness, has a wonderful spread rater and sands easily. It is almost odorless and user friendly. Increases the performance, strength and durability of the final color. It does not contain lead and mercury.

Applied: Wooden and structural surfaces.
Application method: Brush, roller or airgun.
Dilute: 5-10% with clean water.
Spreading Rate: 10-12 m²/l on properly prepared surfaces.
Drying times: Touch dry after 1-2 hours. It can be recoated after 6 hours. Drying times depends on weather conditions (humidity - temperature).
Shades: Available in White.

For the correct application of the paint, the surfaces to be painted should be cleaned so that they are dry, free of dust, oil, grease, rust, mold residue, salts and residues of old peeling paint. Also recommend that they be sanded with a suitable sandpaper and followed by a good cleaning of dust, especially if it is a smooth and shiny surface. We apply one with two hands Velatura Etchi to fill and properly prepare the surface for repainting with MaxiLac Water.
