LP 2150

One component marine varnish.

LP 2150 is a transparent one-component finish for outdoor use with UV filters. The main feature of the product is the excellent ‘simplicity’, which allows it application on wood 120 micron wet film. The use of special alkyd resins urethane acts so that the fillet resulting from the drying of the product to gradually shrinks, avoiding peeling & cracking making it easy to maintenance for wooden frames.

Type: Alkyd - Urethane Varnish.
Density: 900 - 920 gr / liter (depending on the shade).
Application: Brush or spray gun.
Dilution: Ready to use.
Spreading Rate: Approximately 8 m2 per liter in softwood or 10 m2 per liter in hardwood.
Drying: Usually by touch in 4 hours and repainted after 24 hours. These times are prolonged under cold - wet conditions.
Shades: Available in colorless.

On wood thoroughly clean dust and remove oils and resin with nitrogen solvent. On surfaces with old varnishes or paints in poor condition, remove them with corrosive. In any case, smooth the surfaces with a suitable sandpaper. The humidity of the wood should not exceed 15% -20%. Apply first coat of transparent Cherawood that penetrates deeper into the wood and then two coats of LP 2150 with an interval of 24 hours. The final shade depends on the natural color of the wood.
