CHASSI

Inexpensive and superior solution for painting car chassis and metal surfaces.

CHASSI is a combination of anti-rust primer and enamel paint based on alkyd resins, suitable for the protection of chassis of vehicles. It has strong adhesion and exhibits strong resistance to chipping, humidity and petrol.

Application: Brush, roller or spray gun.
Thinning: Dilute 10% with White Spirit for use with brush/roller.
Spreading rates: About 14 m²/L per coat on prepared surfaces.
Drying: It is touch dry after 6-7 hour. It can be recoated after 16 hours. Drying times depends on weather conditions (humidity - temperature).
Shades: It is available in black, grey and oxide red.
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds): EU maximum VOC content limit values (Directive 2004/42/CE) for this product (category A/i "One-pack performance coatings", Type SB): 500 g/l. This product contains maximum 495 g/l VOCs (ready for use product).

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from rust, grease and dirt and be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper. For optimal corrosion protection is recommended to apply two coats CHASSI. It may be used as a final paint or overcoated with any alkyd based paint. Sanding between coats is recommended using a suitable abrasive paper.
